Each name is a token in your own Keplr wallet
Keep it, sell it or give it away. No platform account, no one to ask permission from.
A DO Name swaps your long wallet code for a short name people can remember. Use it to get paid, host your own website and be recognised across apps. You own it, like any token in your wallet.
Every time you send or receive crypto you copy a 40-plus character code, paste it, then check it character by character. One wrong character and the money is gone for good.
Nobody remembers their own address, so you can't say it out loud, print it on a card or share it in a conversation. It ends up on a sticky note.
DO Names is part of the DO Corp ecosystem, running on DO Chain. We can't take your name back, and every change is a transaction you sign yourself.
Keep it, sell it or give it away. No platform account, no one to ask permission from.
Only your signed transactions change your name.
A public lookup turns your name into your address, no permission needed, so your name works wherever DO Chain apps support it.
Register once and your name works as your payment address, your website, your public profile and an asset you can trade.
Tell people "send it to nick.doit". Apps on DO Chain look up your address for you, so nobody has to paste a code again.
Every name comes with its own web address. Put up a portfolio, a shop page or a CV with no hosting bill.
Set one name as your primary name for each suffix. Leaderboards, profiles and games show it instead of a string of characters.
Your name sits in your wallet like any other token. List it on the DoMisFits marketplace or send it to a friend.
Pick the suffix for the community you're part of. You pay in that chain's own token.
Install the free Keplr wallet and add some DO, LUNC or DGN. Need tokens? Swap for them on DODEX.
Connect Keplr here, type the name you want and choose 1, 2 or 3 years. You'll see straight away if it's free and what it costs.
Keplr shows you the exact fee before you sign. Approve it and the name lands in your wallet as soon as the transaction confirms.
Connecting only shares your public address. Nothing moves and nothing is paid until you approve a transaction in Keplr yourself.
A Keplr window asks if this site can see your DO Chain address. The first time, it may also ask to add DO Chain to your wallet.
Only your public address. Keplr never shares your recovery phrase or private keys with any website.
You see the names you own with their expiry dates. You can renew, set a primary name or publish a website.
A second Keplr window shows the exact fee. Nothing is charged unless you press Approve.
You sign a short message to prove you own the name. Signing a message costs nothing.
Connect Keplr to see the names you own, renew them, set a primary name or publish a website.

Illustrator and DODEX liquidity provider. Commissions open. Tips welcome at nick.doit.
A short, readable name that points to your wallet. Instead of sharing do1t7rnyus7q3667txrw… you share nick.doit. The name itself is a token you hold in your wallet.
.doit for DO Chain, paid in DO. .lunc for the Terra Classic community, paid in LUNC. .dgn for Dungeon Chain players, paid in DGN. You can own names on more than one.
Connecting only shares your public address. Every payment or change needs your approval in a Keplr window that shows the fee first. DO Names will never ask for your recovery phrase.
You have a 30-day grace period to renew. After that the name becomes available for anyone to register.
No illegal content, malware, phishing or pretending to be another project. If a site breaks these rules we take the website down and show a notice in its place. The name itself stays yours on-chain.

Names are NFTs issued by smart contracts on DO Chain. Website files are stored on IPFS and Arweave, and only their content hashes are written on-chain. Every change is a transaction signed by the owner; nothing is kept server-side.
